Privacy Policy
U-StoreCity Privacy Policy page.
Effective Date.
Effective Date: June 10, 2007
Information Collection and Handling
The following Privacy Policy governs the online information collection practices
of U-StoreCity.com ("we" or "us"). Specifically, it outlines the types of
information that we gather about you while you are using the U-StoreCity.com
website (the "Site"), and the ways in which we use and don't use this
information. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By visiting and using
the Site, you agree that your use of our Site, and any dispute over privacy, is
governed by this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. Because the Web is an
evolving medium, we may need to change our Privacy Policy at some point in the
future, in which case we'll post the changes to this Privacy Policy on this
website and update the Effective Date of the policy to reflect the date of the
changes. By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, you
accept the Privacy Policy as modified.
What Information is Collected About Visitors?
The information that we collect about you while you are using the Site falls
into two general categories:
1. Information You Provide to Us. We may collect and store information, personal
or otherwise, that you voluntarily supply either while on the Site or in
responding via email in connection with a feature provided on the Site. We never
solicit anyone who has not explicitly asked to be put on our New Features
mailing list. Everyone is free to take themselves off this list at any time. We
will never sell this list, nor is your email address digitally stored for future
use - should you ask to be removed.
2. Information that is Automatically Collected. We also collect and store
information that is generated automatically as you navigate through the Site.
For example, if a particular website page is popular, we like to know in order
to improve your web experience. So we count the number of times a particular
page has been accessed.
Note that in many features on this site, your information is actually stored on
your computer. For example, when you create a routine stack, we have no access
to the actual routines you place in your stack. This data is stored on your own
hard drive via a "Cookie". This is in the form of a text file of approximately
30 lines or less.
